Surprise ... surprise
Dear Wayne,
As I enjoy my weekend, an SMS came into my mobile forwarded by a concerned citizen that showed the number of a journalist. Surprisingly, this journalist seems to act as if he is now with the residents of Buah Pala. I really wouldn't want to go into the details but do wait for a video that will soon come out showing some interesting findings. Once it is out, enjoy it.
Now, I believe the air in London is cooling and refreshing. Of course one gets into a situation where he or she will miss home very much. In this case, 5 of his fellow comrades who fought for the Indian people under Hindraf spent many months in jail. I believe Wayne had a great time championing their cause while lawyers in Malaysia mainly from DAP and PKR tried their best to get them out from ISA detention. Now, all of them are out and Wayne is feeling left out. Guess Kampung Buah Pala came at the right time. What best time is there then to beat this issue to death and gain support?
After the much revealed chronological event, it is now very apparent that HINDRAF could have been used by certain individuals with Buah Pala, or did they? Well, you be the judge. I believe the crux of the issue is this - WHO SOLD THE LAND? Sure - it was approved on 27 March 2008 - merely after it has gone through the EXCO before March 8. Premium reduced and payment was made. Why is Wayne so insistent that it was LGE responsibility to push the deal through? Wayne - come back to Malaysia. I believe LGE would love to have you back to enjoy the Malaysian hospitality. Better still, you can control the folks under you. You have lost your senses.
Wayne - grow up. 2 years ago, there was a cause. Today, the cause is more or less someone else's agenda? You should instruct your commanders to persuade the residents to meet the state. No more name callings. No more fist showing. Suggest you even want to ask that Thamaraj to shut up as come Monday, he is in for a shock. If you are following my blog, follow it. I have great respect for your principles. But of late, you have become a very difficult leader. Seriously, it is best you become a jaguh Malaysia then a jaguh Kampung. Being a jaguh kampung requires you to be here. Don't let your commanders twist the stories let alone a local journalist who speak like a BN agent now. So consider this, okay?

I read with amusement about Kampung Buah Pala's assistant secretary wanting to burn 20,000 cds and distributed throughout the country of footages containing Datuk Seri Anwar and YB Rayer's commitment to help Kampung Buah Pala. Seriously folks, I think Thamaraj has gone nuts. After all, Hindraf seems to have lost interest in this issue and Mr. Thamaraj has decided to do his own way. What is the objective when all of us well know the reasons behind Thamaraj getting evicted from his own land. Was it Anwar, LGE, Karpal or even Rayer that got you into this predicament? Sometimes when someone gets too emotional, he or she forgets the intellectual reasons behind the issue. Case in point - it was our beloved EX Chief Minister who insisted it to be sold away. Of course no one is insinuating on this but now EX CM wants to do this
This is what KTK said "I would also like to ask him (Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng) to announce and make public a chronology of the promises that DAP leaders had made before and during the last general election on this issue and quote what they have said themselves (to the residents) just as he had quoted from the 'presumably' exco minutes"
So Thamaraj, since you have chosen your path path, I think you should lighten up and treat folks at Komtar with respect. Koh Tsu Koon is playing you into a corner. Always qualify your statement because each day goes by, you are looking not so good by the day. Why am I saying this ?
Firstly, if it was really a caring BN government, why did they sell it away and at discounted price? This land could have been earmarked for heritage and your fellow residents would have gotten the best treatment ever. After all, you failed to do so and is it because you are covering your failures? In fact, you should ask KTK to resign as Minister since the KPI for good governance is missing on his part. I guess Thamaraj is trying to set himself up to become the next ADUN of Seri Delima. After all, if he is sincere, he wouldn't have said lots of things. Whilst HINDRAF appreciates the part revelation of Penang Chief Minister on the Kg.Buah Pala Saga, we are however surprised that he had carefully chosen what should and what should not be revealed.
From the revelations, we are not in the slightest doubt that the BN under its previous Chief Minister Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon and his cohorts had robbed the poor and defenceless people of Kg. Buah Pala of their land and they should be held accountable.
ARE YOU VERY SURE? PLEASE SEE TO YOUR GUYS IN MALAYSIA. THEY HAVE SOLD YOU OUT BY ISSUING STATEMENTS THAT SO ARE SO CONFLICTING.
However Guan Eng has to clarify the following points:
· How was the land that was given to the villagers and held in trust by the Government sold to private developers in the first place;
PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT'S DOING - WHY ASK THE STATE GOVERNMENT WHO IS HELPING THE PEOPLE THERE.
· Since it was plainly obvious from the documents that the land was robbed from the people then why did Guan Eng and his Government allow the fraudulent transfer to take place after he and his Government came into power;
ADMINISTRATIVE WAYNE, ADMINISTRATIVE.
· Why didn’t Guan Eng adhere to the advice by the resident's previous Lawyer that the transaction of the previous Government could be revoked by him as fraud is involved;
ASK YOURSELF THIS - WITH SO MUCH LAND SCANDAL IN THE PIPELINE, MAYBE YOU CAN WORK WITH THE STATE GOVERNMENT TO LOOK INTO THIS.

The villagers have made it clear that they wish to be represented by a Legal Representative of their choice and not by a representative chosen by Guan Eng. He should not make a mockery of himself by further complicating the matter by coercing the people into submission with his bullying and high handed tactics.

In addition, he insinuates that HINDRAF is a collaborator of BN. Guan Eng must remember HINDRAF is apolitical and we do not condone any wrong doing by any Government. In this case, why blame us for not condemning the BN when you and your colleagues have quietly played along with BN and attempted to sweep the matter under the carpet, perhaps motivated by the “unimaginable” sum.

If he is sincere in using “all the legal avenues of resolving the issue” as claimed, then the only option is the Land Acquisition Act. He should erase the delusion that hundreds of millions of compensation is involved when the act clearly states that a reasonable sum only need be paid.
AND SET THE PRECEDENCE THROUGHOUT THE STATE? HINDRAF BROTHERS, YOU GOT MONEY TO PAY OR NOT.

Why Hindraf? Why?
Are you blinded by the struggles that you fought for? Have you forgotten that when your comrades were in jail, who were the ones who fought for you? I am a Penangite and I voted with my conscience. None of you were from Penang and yet you come and make threats to our rightful Chief Minister. My take to you is this - seek your greener pastures at PutraJaya. Get yourself registered with the Registrar of Societies and form your own political party. Maybe with good fortunes, you will benefit from the rukus you are causing in Penang. I am sure many Penangites will shut their doors on you if you continue to be on a combative mood. I have always respected your struggles. But of late, you speak like BN, think like one, and even denying facts of Buah Pala that is really right in front of you. So - I have to say - sorry folks - Hindraf is not cool anymore. There are more of a distraction for BN than ever before.
